Homecoming Festivities

A CREW HOMECOMING

Georgia Tech vs. Miami

Saturday, October 28th

Come catch up with your old rowing buddies before the game!  It’s a great opportunity to say hi to some friends and for the current rowers to meet the people who have made GT Crew what it is today.

In the true spirit of tailgating, food will be provided (BYOB).  The exact location and time will be announced closer to game day.  Please be sure to check gtcrew.com, your emails* and the alumni blog (www.gtcrewalumni.blogspot.com/).

The team looks forward to seeing you all!!

Crew House.

The Crew House has been torn down. The rich history of what the Crew House represented is now only in memories and tall tales since the building no longer stands. I don't know what will be built on that land, but I do know that the phrase "Crew House" brings back a lot of memories. I remember...

- erging late at night to "Joe Dirt" one of the greatest movies ever made.
- learning that someone actually once lived in the crew house.
- when the infamous 99,999 meter piece was pulled. Something like 8 hours. My spirit was broken that day.
- hearing of novice parties at the Crew House.

What do you remember? Post your stories.
